On November 21, Day 1 of the 2024 MAMA Awards (Mnet Asian Music Awards) was held in Los Angeles, California. This year MAMA is a three-day event, with the last two days taking place in Osaka, Japan. Due to various circumstances, such as military enlistment and conflicting schedules, not every nominated idol or group could attend the ceremonies.

At Day 1 of the 2024 MAMA Awards in Los Angeles, TWS won the awards for “Best New Male Artist” and “Best Dance Performance (Male Group).”

On Day 1, ILLIT won “Best New Female Artist.”

On Day 2, aespa was one of several female artists to win “Fans’ Choice (Female).”
