The 2024 MAMA AWARDS, the world’s No.1 K-Pop Awards, has teamed up with LINE FRIENDS, one of the leading global character brands, to give K-Pop fans a special opportunity to get limited edition of MAMA merchandise at LINE FRIENDS LA Hollywood Store in the opening week of 2024 MAMA AWARDS US.

As part of the collaboration, LINE FRIENDS has created a limited edition of MAMA merchandise products ranging from can badges and eco bags to T-shirts featuring ‘minini‘, one of the LINE FRIENDS’ global character IPs. ‘minini’ is rapidly gaining popularity among global Gen Z on social media, where its content has garnered around 87 million cumulative views due to its cute appearance and unexpected charm.

The various MAMA merchandise items will be available at LINE FRIENDS LA Hollywood Store’s pop-up zone starting November 20 for five days. During the pop-up opening days, the shop will hold a special giveaway offering a slogan towel to those who purchase MAMA merchandise items.

LINE FRIENDS has also expanded its IP-based business by partnering with renowned companies across various fields, from retail brands to media and content-specialized companies, to create unique products and high-quality content. This is the first time that LINE FRIENDS has collaborated with MAMA AWARDS to create MAMA exclusive merchandise that appeals to K-Pop fans.

The 2024 MAMA AWARDS, presented by Visa, is set to kick off on November 21 (PST) at the Hollywood Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and to take place from November 22 to 23 (KST/JST) at the KYOCERA DOME OSAKA in Japan.

Celebrating a quarter-century legacy, the MAMA AWARDS have been at the forefront of K-Pop’s expansion, with award ceremonies hosted across Asia, including Macao, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Japan, underscoring CJ ENM’s commitment to elevate K-Pop music on a global scale. The 2024 MAMA AWARDS will also be broadcast worldwide including global digital platforms.
