2nd-Gen Boy Group Idols Torn To Shreds For Supposedly Age-Inappropriate Comeback Concept

A recent boy group release has stirred up unexpected heat on social media over its music video concept.

The release in question features Super Junior members Leeteuk and Heechul as Super Junior-83z. The unit made their debut on July 13, KST, with the mini album, Promise, and the title track of the same name.

The two idols also released a music video of “Promise,” which included scenes of them portraying younger versions of themselves, even wearing high school uniforms.

The internet recently jumped into action, giving brtual criticism over the fact that Heechul and Leeteuk decided to go with such a concept despite both being 43 years old.
