Rookie girl group RESCENE recently shared the surprising words their agency CEO told them before they made their debut.

RESCENE debuted in March 2024 under The Muze Entertainment with their first single album Re:Scene.

The group, consisting of members Woni, Minami, Zena, May, and Liv, quickly gained attention for their unique concept inspired by scent and memories.

While they didn’t blow up immediately after debuting, the girl group has recently experienced a massive rise in popularity and even reached #1 on Melon.

Recently, members Minami and Woni appeared on TEO’s popular variety show Salon Drip, where they talked about their unusual casting story.

During the episode, host Jang Do Yeon asked the members about their agency CEO personally recruiting them. Minami confirmed it was true before Jang asked what convinced her to join the company.

Jang Do Yeon: “What made you trust him enough to join?”

Minami: “I got tricked by what our CEO said. He told me, ‘I’ll make you the next BLACKPINK. I’ll make you the next TWICE. I’ll make you the next BTS.‘”

Woni: “It’s true.”
