ADOR Continues Battle On Harassment Against NewJeans Amidst Legal Dispute Against Members

Despite its ongoing legal dispute with the members of the girl group NewJeans, label ADOR is still taking action against individuals posting malicious content about the group online.

"We are actively pursuing legal measures against those who maliciously defame NewJeans members through insults, sexual harassment, and the use of derogatory language," ADOR said in a press release on Friday.

"Following our previous legal actions, penalties are now being imposed for various criminal cases related to the defamation of NewJeans."

The company revealed that offenders who are found to have distributed and sold altered pornographic images of the members will be subject to a multimillion-won fine, as enforced by South Korea's Supreme Court.

"We are taking a hard-line stance against violations of the artists' rights based on our zero-tolerance policy," ADOR said.

"We will exhaust all means to gather relevant evidence and hold those responsible through legal procedures, no matter how long it takes."

NewJeans members announced their unilateral contract termination from ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE, in a press conference on November 28.

In response, the label filed a legal motion on December 3, seeking affirmation that its exclusive contracts with the members are still valid.

Currently, the members are promoting under their individual names, forgoing the group name "NewJeans," as well as opening social media accounts under the new name "Jeanz."
