Entertainment company ADOR has once again called for the return of K-pop group NJZ (formerly NewJeans) to official group activities under their company. This follows a court decision that reaffirmed the agency’s status as the group’s legitimate management company.

Hello, this is ADOR.
Yesterday, a decision in the appellate court once again clearly confirmed that ADOR is the agency representing NewJeans.
We deeply thank the court for its judgment.
We hope that this decision will serve as an opportunity for the members to return to their rightful place as “NewJeans” and resume their activities.
As NewJeans approaches their third debut anniversary next month, the company plans to do its utmost to support the group in making a greater leap forward and continuing to grow.
Thank you.

NJZ had previously claimed that their exclusive contract with ADOR was terminated in November 2024 due to alleged breaches, and subsequently began pursuing activities independently. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit asserting the validity of the contract and sought legal measures to prevent the members from continuing solo endeavors without the agency’s consent.

On June 17, the Seoul High Court dismissed the appeal filed by the members against a prior injunction. You can read more about it below.
