On October 9, K-netz gathered in a community thread titled, "How Big Is The Gap Between aespa Members' Popularity?"

The author uploaded a screenshot from X (formerly Twitter), showing the chart performances of Winter's "Spark," Karina's "UP," NingNing's "Bored!," and Giselle's "Dopamine."

The author pointed out that only Karina's solo managed to enter MelOn at No. 15, peak at No. 1 on Bugs, and place No. 19 at Genie.

OP captioned:

"Look at the ranking differences. All four of them released solo music but only one went to the upper ranks. Fans are also only streaming one solo. It's been a while since I've seen a group with huge popularity gaps between members."

MYs discussed Karina's chart performance and reacted to the thread's overall comparison. Read their comments here:

  • "What do you want us to do about it when they push Karina the most?"
  • "Karina is the most popular among the public, so there are more people who would check out any song in which her name is mentioned."
  • "Karina's solo definitely stands out between all four of them even if we don't consider her popularity."
  • "I don't care. I enjoy all the songs and my favorite is Dopamine."
