Actor Ahn Hyo Seop‘s recent interview has tickled the funny bones of K-Drama viewers after he admitted on-camera that he found one of his past projects “corny.”

On June 25, KST, Netflix released a short interview with Ahn, who voiced the male lead character in KPop Demon Hunters, the latest animated action-comedy that has taken the world by storm.

In the interview, Ahn was given some of his iconic K-Drama lines translated into English and asked if he could recognize where those lines were from.
The third line quoted in the interview was “Do you know what my love for you and this credit card have in common? They both have no limit.” Ahn quickly answered that it was from his iconic K-Drama, Business Proposal.
The very next line given to the actor was, “If you come any closer, I’m never going to let you go again.” After visibly struggling to remember which show this line was from, he guessed it correctly, answering with Business Proposal yet again.
Ahn then surprisingly added, “No other project that I have had has this kind of corny lines.”
Netizens were left extremely amused by Ahn Hyo Seop’s unfiltered honesty, but they also made it very clear that it made no difference in their love for the show or his portrayal of Kang Taemoo.
