The Black Label‘s new group ALLDAY PROJECT is receiving criticism for their latest announcement.

Despite only debuting this month, the group is already going to be featured on the cover of the July issue for VOGUE Korea.

Many netizens feel the group has immediately received unfair treatment upon their debut.

If this is a hybe group, the quotes would be full of payola accusations. But a group that debuted a week ago appearing on vogue cover is somehow not payola to them when one of the member is literally the granddaughter of the chairwoman of korea's biggest conglomerate https://t.co/1lwik3Zfof

Additionally, member Tarzzan finds himself in hot water: He has previously been accused of cultural appropriation, including wearing braids. Now, netizens point out that he has taken out the braids for a high fashion magazine, indicating the racist stereotype that braids aren’t “professional” or “high fashion.”
Not him flexing them braids everywhere but now that it’s time for vogue he got the water wave. https://t.co/PaTAc8dbGg
