Recently, leaked content allegedly featuring BLACKPINK has surfaced online and become a hot topic.

On March 30, several videos were uploaded to a YouTube channel named Kim Mi Hyun Productions. Several were alleged to be content from YG Entertainment, including pre-debut videos of BLACKPINK. These videos appear to be pre-debut evaluations of the members and show them performing covers of already-existing songs.
While there is much interest in the leaked content, what has stood out to fans is the usage of the N-Word in the song’s covers. Some of Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé’s videos include the usage of the N-Word.

The videos are all at least dated before BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016, making them all likely teenagers, something that was mentioned in defense of the group. Some also commented that the word was used in covers rather than organically.
Why were they making young girls do this???💀 https://t.co/U5YgqYZDT3

I really don't understand the dragg of saying the Nword here when they were MINORS who used the word when EVERYONE in the yt era used it as if nothing, but it wasn't until the streaming era arrived and they began to cancel people who say it TODAY. this was more than 10 yrs ago. https://t.co/v3KRsRadLK

Others were less forgiving, calling out the group’s English speakers for saying the word. Some commented that there were other rap songs that did not include it that could have been used.
mind you rosé and jennie literally grew up in an english speaker environment https://t.co/ga7JJbqtha
