Leo is set to debut soon in ALPHA DRIVE ONE. He was selected as part of the final lineup through the show Boys II Planet recently.

Although he was a fan favorite from the start, many had doubts about his debut thanks to his controversial past. Leo was exposed to the public eye from early on, thanks to his participation in Trainee A, as well as his later solo debut. Leo not only faced criticism for his past rap lyrics which were deemed misogynistic…

Fans Rebut Allegations Of ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s Leo Being Spotted On Date

Prior to his debut, Leo penned a heartfelt message to fans on Instagram. He posted a story dated October 8, 2025, expressing his hopes to become a good influence in the future.

“I don’t know if I’m being too greedy, but in this short life, I want to only keep good people by nmy side. I’m someone who worries/thinks a lot, and at times, I have this selfish thought where I hope that there would be someone to right me and to lead me down the right path. You know how at times in life, someone’s positive words can change everything? And also, it’s like that person was simply just voicing out their thoughts, but those words would make you change your entire outlook. I think that I live on for moments like that. I think that we are able to stand up again due to that spark in an otherwise dreary life, due to that one faint thread of hope. Anyway, I want to be able to give back the positive influence that I’ve been receiving all this while. I want to be a good influence. Not just as the singer Leo, but as the person, Leo Lee. Although I want to satsify everyone due to my personality, not everyone will like me. nInstead, I want to become a good role model for those who support and cheer me on. I normally write stuff like this in my notes at dawn before falling asleep, but today, I just wanted to share it. Have a happy day!”

Although he did not directly address his past controversies, it seemed like he has indirectly done so by acknowledging that not everyone may like him. His controversies have been resurfacing after his debut was confirmed.
