There has been a lack of updates since the show ended.

Last year, amidst the announcement of many survival shows, MLD Entertainment joined the fray, announcing its program to build a boy group.

MLD, formerly home to Momoland, collaborated with Artsro Entertainment to create Be The Next: 9 Dreamers, a Korean-Philippine project. The show was meant to debut a nine-member group active in both countries and globally.
After the final episode, Yunho (THE KINGDOM’s Arthur), Yohan, Ivan (THE KINGDOM), Tehll, Zor, SmileOne, Francis, Gelo, and Dylan were announced to be members of the upcoming group.

In the time since, there have been few updates on the group’s debut plans, with statements and other information from the members pointing to it not happening.
Member Zor posted on his X account, mentioning that it had been a confusing time, but expressing gratitude at not having “signed anything.” Yohan, the second-highest ranked contestant, also posted about “a new beginning,” saying he would be going forward as a solo artist.
