ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo starred on a recent episode of You Quiz! where he spilled his heart out about his fellow groupmate, Moonbin. As many know, Moonbin tragically passed on in 2023, leaving behind his family and his group members.

As over a year has passed since Moonbin left the world, the hosts carefully asked Eunwoo about his feelings towards the loss. Eunwoo honestly shared how he kept himself busy with schedules, but he also could not help but let guilt creep in. He ended up writing a song to honor him. The song, “Where Am I,” is one close to his heart.

“People always forget about things too easily. I was sad about it too. I thought about what would be a meaningful way for him to be remembered. I wrote the lyrics while crying my heart out. I still can’t sing that song. I felt so guilty. When I ate, I wondered if I should be eating. When I slept, I wondered if I deserved to sleep well. He comes out in my dreams sometimes, often. The dreams are rather varied. Sometimes we’re at the gym, sometimes we’re in the recording studio. It differs from time to time.”

He couldn’t help but feel torn by the situation, not liking to appear too okay, but also not wanting to appear as if he was not okay. Ultimately, Eunwoo decided that the only solution was to live well and live hard, as he believes that it would be what Moonbin wants for him. You can listen to “Where Am I” here.
