A beloved co-ed K-Pop group member recently talked about his very baffling fan encounter that left him shell-shocked.

On June 25, KST, Koyote member Bbaek Ga appeared as a special guest on KBS Cool FM‘s Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show and talked about this bizarre experience.

During a conversation about unexpected encounters, Bbaek Ga recalled an incident from one of his past travels with the Koyote members that left the entire studio stunned.

The rapper recounted that while he was on a flight with the rest of his members, he encountered a flight attendant who claimed to be a fan. When he was on his way to the washroom, she made an absurd request.

This is a true story. It was when I was traveling with the members. I was going to the bathroom on the plane when a flight attendant called me over and said, ‘I’m such a big fan. No one is watching right now, can you give me a kiss?’

— Bbaek Ga

Bbaek Ga revealed that the request took him aback so hard that he ran away to his seat immediately. In fact, he was so shaken that he told his fellow member, Kim Jongmin, about it as well.

I was so scared that I told Jongmin hyung, ‘The stewardess is asking me to kiss her. I’m freaked out. I can’t go to the washroom.’

The rapper then re-emphasized that the incident had happened in real life, adding that his members could vouch for it.

Park Myung Soo, the host, lightened up the mood, joking that if Bbaek Ga was making up the scenario, he should be considered a novelist at the same level as Han Kang. Though the idol shared the anecdote in a lighthearted mood, it has once again highlighted the perpetual need for a better fan culture in K-Pop, where idols still get their privacy violated by alleged fans.

Meanwhile, the co-ed group Koyote, formed in 1998, is one of the longest-running K-Pop groups in history, still going strong after multiple label and lineup changes. The group now consists of three members, namely, Kim Jongmin, Bbaek Ga, and Shinji. Some of their most popular songs include “Pure Love,” “Paran,” and “Our Dream.”
