Following the noise, Ha Sungwoon's agency Big Planet Made Entertainment broke its silence and released an official statement, as per Xports News on October 4.
According to the response, the agency directly addressed Baek Yerin's Instagram post and clarified that Ha Sungwoon had nothing to do with the ongoing plagiarism issue.
It then stated that Ha Sungwoon only participated in the OST as a vocalist and that the inclusion was only requested by the show's production company. It added that the soloist and agency weren't involved in any sort of lyrical composition or arrangement for the OST.
The agency also shared feelings of regret since the soundtrack had become a controversial topic and a concern among fans due to a plagiarism-related dispute. However, BPM expressed that it is still hoping for a resolution between Baek Yerin and the producers behind "What Are We."
