BIGBANG to Release 'BiiiG' on August 19 as Group Celebrates 20th Anniversary

BIGBANG will release its first new song in four years on August 19 as the group celebrates its 20th debut anniversary with a large-scale festival across Seoul's Jamsil area.YG Entertainment confirmed that the group's new digital single, "BiiiG," will be released at 6 p.m. KST on August 19. The song's title highlights the first letter of BIGBANG's name and will arrive on the same day as special anniversary events at Seokchon Lake.The celebration, organized through a partnership between YG Entertainment and Lotte Department Store, will run from August 14 to 23 around Lotte Town Jamsil, AllKPop reported.Instead of focusing on one pop-up store, the project will connect Seokchon Lake, Lotte World Mall, and Jamsil Avenue L through exhibitions, food, merchandise, and fan activities.One of the main attractions will be a nighttime lighting event at Seokchon Lake. With support from Songpa District, lighting inspired by BIGBANG's official "Bang Bong" light stick will decorate the east lake and waterfront stage.On August 19, the group's debut anniversary, the special lighting will begin at exactly 8:19 p.m. A roughly five-meter-tall "Bang Bong Crown" will also be placed at the waterfront stage...
