BTS‘s Suga is set to be discharged from his mandatory military service on June 21, 2025, marking the final step in BTS’s journey toward becoming a full group of post-military idols.

Suga has been serving as a public service worker, an alternative form of duty in South Korea’s mandatory conscription system. His upcoming discharge follows the return of fellow BTS members: Jin and j-hope completed their service earlier, while RM and V were discharged on June 10, and Jimin and Jungkook followed on June 11. With Suga’s return, all seven members of BTS will have fulfilled their national defense obligations.

BigHit Music has since issued a notice regarding his upcoming discharge, which includes a request for fans not to gather at the site for safety reasons.
