Blackpink caught wearing sheer "underwear" on public streets

Blackpink Jennie and Rosé's outfits have become a hot topic in Korea. 

The two were spotted wearing sheer underwear and one fashion magazine even analyzed Rosé's fashion saying, "underwear fashion is a trend that'll never go away."

Jennie attended the Chanel fashion show at the 2026 S/S Paris Fashion Week held in Paris on the 6th and presented a daring "lingerie look." She wore a sky-blue camisole, a knee-length skirt and black high heels. The sheer material revealed the shape of her underwear. 

As this was debut of new designer Mathieu Blazy appointed in December of last year, Jennie's fashion was also noted for its departure from the classic styles she had previously shown at Chanel. 

Previously, Rosé also presented a 'lingerie look' at the Saint Laurent women's fashion show during the 2026 S/S Paris Fashion Week held in Paris, France on the 30th of last month. Rosé's outfit was even more daring. She wore a silk romper suit with camisole and shorts. The outfit was decorated with peach-colored lace and ribbons, reminiscent of underwear. Rosé wore sheer black stockings and high-heeled sandals.

Regarding Rosé's fashion, world-renowned fashion magazine Elle explained, "Wearing underwear as outerwear is a trend that is in vogue but will never go away. This is because the fashion world tends to prefer thin clothing."

They also reported, "Saint Laurent's Anthony Vaccarello said that everyone will embrace this trend starting this fall. Specifically, luxury style focuses more on sleepwear. Think of it as daytime pajamas. Rather than loose-fitting sleepwear, we're talking about luxurious materials and sleek silhouettes inspired by lingerie."

Beyond Paris fashion shows, stars have been frequently spotted wearing lingerie at official events. According to Elle, actress Emily Blunt attended the Toronto International Film Festival last month in a sheer lace-trimmed top, and Gwendoline Christie recently wore a Prada satin dress to a film premiere.

In Korea, actress Moon Ga-young also created a buzz last month when she wore a Dolce & Gabbana slip while departing for "Dolce Beauty Jakarta " event and shared her lingerie fashion look on IG.
