BLACKPINK are on their DEADLINE show, and are currently in America having played two shows in LA.

Along with the iconic group tracks, each member performed their own solo songs, and one of Jennie’s choices was the legendary “like JENNIE.”

A video of her performance in LA of the track has gained attention.

Yet, when the video was posted online, it was hit with scathing reviews.

Netizens hit back at Jennie, saying she wasn’t really an idol because, aside from shouting to the crowd, she didn’t sing at all, which is something all K-Pop artists should be able to do. Some even thought she was giving “nothing” because they didn’t think she put 100% into the performance.

Some netizens defended the idol, saying that she had performed multiple songs before and that there wasn’t an issue focusing on dancing for a track with such iconic choreography.
