Kim Jiyoon is officially joining the cast of Super Seller: Incentive Game, the first-ever seller survival show of South Korea. She appeared in a teaser video for the show, briefly talking about Jisoo, and expressing her confidence in doing well on the show.

The survival show will feature 40 contestants who will compete in an incentive game based solely on their selling skills. Kim Jiyoon is expected to make her broadcasting debut with the show’s first episode, which will air this October on ENA.

The first look of Kim Jiyoon’s appearance on the show has been met with heavily divided reactions. While some praised her youthful visuals, others criticized her styling and even her decision to appear on a TV show.

  • “I wish they’d change up the styling a bit… It looks tacky, and the camera app filter is way too obvious.”
  • “This person is 35 or 36 years old and a married woman with two sons — but she looks super young… Still, since her younger sister is in such a famous group like BLACKPINK, it might be better for her to live quietly. Her sister isn’t in just some average group, but in BLACKPINK — literally the top girl group in the world. So I really don’t get why she’s appearing in places like that.”
  • “Same with BTS — the younger or older siblings make tons of money, so wouldn’t they still get a lot of the leftovers even if they just stayed quiet? Why is everyone so desperate to do something? It’s either TV appearances using their sibling’s name, or they’re all starting businesses.”
  • “Doing TikTok Live is so annoying, especially playing BLACKPINK songs lol.”
  • “She talks just like Jisoo, but her voice is actually better.”
