Lisa of BLACKPINK is once again at the center of dating rumors after a recent interview reignited speculation that she may have broken up with Frédéric Arnault.
The new attention came after Lisa appeared as the latest cover star for Vanity Fair. During the interview, the magazine noted that Lisa's publicist strongly requested that her personal life not be discussed.
However, the article still mentioned the long-running rumors linking her to Arnault and stated that the two "seem to have now called it quits."
According to Koreaboo, the publication pointed out that fans noticed Arnault was absent from Lisa's birthday celebration earlier this year, which added fuel to online speculation about a possible breakup.
Although neither Lisa nor Arnault has publicly confirmed a relationship or a split, many fans quickly treated the wording in the interview as a major clue. For more than two years, Lisa and Arnault have been linked together after being spotted in several countries and at multiple public events.
Rumors first grew stronger in 2022 when Arnault attended a BLACKPINK concert in Los Angeles and later shared a group photo online. Since then, the pair have continued to attract attention whenever they appeared near each other.
In 2024, they were seen together at the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Kith launch event in Miami. Arnault was also reportedly spotted attending the premiere of Lisa's acting project, The White Lotus, in Bangkok earlier this year.
Lisa Says Fans Respect Her Privacy
Despite the constant attention surrounding her private life, Lisa recently admitted that her relationship with fans has changed in a positive way. Speaking to Vanity Fair, she said fans now seem to respect her boundaries more than before.
"I feel like after I came out and talked about how there's no privacy for me, [fans] now respect that a lot more," Lisa shared.
According to People, the singer also explained that life in the spotlight can sometimes become overwhelming. "Sometimes it's just a little too much, and sometimes I just want to be normal," she said.
Fans reacted emotionally to her comments, with many praising Lisa for being honest about the pressures of fame while still remaining kind to supporters.
Outside of the dating rumors, Lisa continues to stay busy with her growing solo career. After releasing her solo album Alter Ego in 2025, she expanded into acting, music collaborations, and upcoming film projects while continuing activities with BLACKPINK alongside Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé.
