According to an exclusive report by Maeil Business Star Today on November 6, BLACKPINK has set their comeback to January next year, moving it from the originally expected late-2025 release. The decision was reportedly made to increase the quality of the new song and to align with their 2026 world tour schedule.

Earlier reports suggested that BLACKPINK was preparing for a December mid-month comeback, but YG Entertainment clarified that no official date had been set back then. They confirmed in October that the group was filming their music video.

BLACKPINK’s last full-length release was their second studio album BORN PINK, which dropped in September 2022. If their new album is released as planned, it will mark the group’s first comeback in nearly four years. Their most recent single, “JUMP,” was released in July 2025.

While the members have primarily been focusing on their solo projects, BLACKPINK has continued to strengthen their presence as global artists. This year, they kicked off their Deadline world tour in Goyang in July, performing for fans worldwide. Notably, in August, they became the first K-pop girl group to headline a solo concert at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.

Having debuted in August 2016, BLACKPINK will celebrate their 10th anniversary next year, making this upcoming comeback a milestone event that fans around the world are eagerly anticipating.
