After a bit of a wait, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo released her long-anticipated mini-album Amortage on February 14. The title track, “Earthquake,” has been a hot topic, showing off a new side of Jisoo.

Along with promotions for her recent K-Drama series, Jisoo has been busy making various appearances to promote her album as well. On February 19, the idol had a busy day, and appeared on two radio shows, the first being Park Myung Soo‘s.

She was photographed on the way to work, and was wearing a comfy and cozy outfit that appeared appropriate for the chilly weather.

Later that day, she had another radio appearance, this time on Red Velvet’s Wendy‘s Youngstreet program. This is a viewable radio show, meaning fans are able to watch online.

For this show, Jisoo also wore a warm and comfortable looking outfit.

While Jisoo is known for prioritizing her comfort when it comes to clothing, a post titled “Jisoo’s outfit is really bad…” discussing these two outfits in a negative light soon hit just under 170,000 views. The poster shared images from these two schedules, seeming to criticize her comfortable look.

However, netizens came to the idol’s defense, questioning why what she wore mattered and insisting she be able to wear whatever she wants.

  • You don’t have to dress like you’re at the airport all the time; it’s just a radio schedule, so let it go.
  • People should dress how they want—there’s no reason to match someone else’s standards.
  • Jisoo isn’t someone with a bad personality, so what exactly did she do wrong to deserve this criticism?
  • She looks comfortable, and it’s nice. Let’s have our country’s female idols try dressing comfortably like that instead of just for show.
