BLACKPINK‘s Lisa recently spoke about some of her experiences with stalker fans.

On February 27, Lisa’s exclusive interview with popular Thai entertainer Woody Milintachinda was shared online. The idol was interviewed for around half an hour as part of the promotions for her album Alter Ego.

During the interview, Woody asked Lisa if any instances from her ten years in the industry particularly impacted her or caused “anxiety” in her mind. Lisa shared that she experienced something that she had previously only heard of from usually male idols — a sasaeng fan.
She explained that last year, after landing in South Korea and greeting fans at the airport, she returned to her home alone, where she was met by someone waiting for her outside. She told the person that she was not comfortable with meeting like that and asked for them to leave.
Lisa said she felt fear after checking the CCTV around her home as she was alone.
The idol gave another chilling account of dealing with an invasive fan. Once as she was getting into a taxi from her house, someone attempted to follow behind and used their leg to prevent her from closing the door.
These experiences left her so shaken that she asked her female manager to live with her for a time. Lisa also revealed that these kinds of things also happen at her home in Los Angeles and that she sometimes feels insecure and unsafe in public now out of fear of strangers potentially harming her.
Hopefully, Lisa won’t deal with any more experiences like these in the future.
