On February 11, KST, Billboard published an article preview announcing that “APT” had claimed the top spot on the Billboard Global Excl US chart for the February 15, 2025 rankings. This marked the song’s 15th consecutive week at the No.1 position on the chart.

With this impressive feat, “APT” has now officially defeated Mariah Carey‘s cult classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which held the record for the most consecutive weeks spent at the top of the Billboard Global Excl US chart with 14 weeks of charting.

In addition to this historic achievement, “APT” continues its impressive hold on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, ranking at No. 6 in its 16th consecutive week of charting. It also ranked at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, falling one spot from No. 1 which it had held onto for 12 consecutive weeks!

It seems that the BLACKPINK singer is becoming growingly accustomed to achieving new records every now and then. She recently achieved a new Guinness World Records achievement never seen before in K-Pop! Read more about it here:
