K-pop sensation BLACKPINK is set to return to the global stage this year, and member Rosé has confirmed that new music is also on the way.

In a recent interview with The Cut Magazine, Rosé revealed that BLACKPINK has been working on fresh material to perform for the tour. While Rose did not give a specific date for when new music will be released, she teased that it would come "soon."

"We will be coming out with new music soon. We just knew there was no reason for us to stop it, right?" she said in the interview. "We've got to do some more damage."

The new music will mark the first time BLACKPINK has released fresh material as a group since dropping its Born Pink album in 2022. The foursome toured the world in 2023 before focusing on solo projects last year. The group's comeback will be accompanied by a massive world tour, scheduled to kick off on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea.

The tour will span multiple continents, including stops in North America, Europe, and Asia. Notable venues include SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Soldier Field in Chicago, and Wembley Stadium in London. BLACKPINK is the first K-pop girl group to perform at the iconic British venue. Additionally, tour graphics showed that BLACKPINK will play three nights at the Tokyo Dome in Japan in January 2026.

Ticket sales for the tour are scheduled to begin on Feb. 27 through LiveNation.com.

Since the conclusion of their "Born Pink" world tour in 2023, BLACKPINK members have been actively pursuing individual projects. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé have each established their own management companies for solo activities while signing with major American record labels to expand their global reach.

Rosé collaborated with Bruno Mars on the hit single "APT.," which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jennie released "Mantra" and is preparing her first full-length solo album, Ruby. Jisoo has ventured into acting, starring in the drama "Newtopia," while Lisa joined the cast of HBO's "The White Lotus" Season 3 and is set to release a solo album, ALTER EGO.
