The video shows various celebrities at the controversial W Korea charity event…

…and compares this to Rosé’s recent photos taken at a hospital with sick children.

However, the video was not received as it was intended. Many criticized Rosé for “exploiting” the children by bringing a camera crew to take photos of their meeting.

Bringing your entire crew with professional cameras and having s photoshoot like this with cancer patient is equally wierd 💀💀 just donate in private and move https://t.co/r6eCMtWqJL pic.twitter.com/o2li0fspAA

People with genuine hearts don’t flaunt charity or use patients to polish their image https://t.co/7KwyF1Ero3

Many felt the decision to photograph the whole event felt disingenuous and performative.

Her main purpose is clearly to show people what she did rather than just helping the patients. otherwise, she wouldn’t have brought a whole camera crew, done a professional photoshoot with the patients and posted the pictures on Instagram. https://t.co/G9Ku8TdCUG
