The sub-unit of SEVENTEEN, BSS (comprising Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi), is making a comeback on January 8, 2024, with their second single, “Telepathy.”

Pledis Entertainment revealed a trailer for the single titled “Is Your Youth Doing Well?” through HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN’s official social media accounts on December 27. The trailer carries a warm and uplifting message from BSS (SEVENTEEN): “Youth is now.”

The video begins with the question, “What is youth? Is youth simply being young?” and goes on to reflect on various people from different generations. The video answers with the message that youth is not about age but about embracing and enjoying life in the present. BSS (SEVENTEEN) presents themselves as the “guardians of youth,” transcending generations. In the trailer, they give students a break from their studies, help overworked office workers by staying late to finish tasks, and even play matchmakers for two middle-aged individuals, adding a heartwarming touch to the story.

An exciting cameo by actor Moon Sang-hoon is also featured, where he appears as his popular “Teacher Moon” character from the YouTube channel ‘BadeoNus.’ The skits between BSS (SEVENTEEN) and Moon Sang-hoon add extra fun and charm to the trailer, amplifying the excitement for their return.

According to Pledis Entertainment, the title “Telepathy” combines “Telepathy” and “Party” to convey the idea of a “party connected through telepathy with everyone in the world.” BSS (SEVENTEEN) hopes to send the message that anyone who is happy in the moment, regardless of their age, can be youthful.

This highly anticipated album has been in the works since early this year and promises to deliver a high-quality musical experience. It will mark BSS (SEVENTEEN)’s first release in nearly two years, following the success of their February 2022 debut single “Second Wind,” which broke records for K-pop unit albums and achieved top rankings on domestic music charts.
