The building that used to house BigHit Music, known at the time as BigHit Entertainment, is gaining attention.

The building houses many memories for BTS and ARMY as the group originally trained there together and remained there until 2017. It has become somewhat of a landmark for fans who, over the years, have written many messages for the members on the building.

However, recent photos have gone viral that show MOAs, fans of BTS’s labelmates TXT, covering the messages with their own artwork.

Instead of leaving their own messages, the new graffiti explicitly covers messages for BTS — The group name is written over by “TXT” and “ARMY” is written over by “MOA.”

absolutely disgusting… pic.twitter.com/l5Ia5cmBuD

The photos immediately blew up online where ARMYs felt as if their sentimental messages had been overwritten.

this is disrespectful af instead of using the empty space they drew on top of the messages left by many armys over the years from over the world like pic.twitter.com/hYFCnjwy8k

The BigHit wall isn’t just paint , it’s ARMY history. Messages from fans who traveled across the world, some no longer with us, still lived there. To spray TXT tags over that legacy isn’t support , it’s vandalism. ARMY is called toxic, but what is this? Disrespect. Pure shame. pic.twitter.com/kDdduNqTnU

Many took issue with the MOA’s choices as TXT had not yet debuted while that building was in use.

The incident has stirred up many emotions from fans who wrote their messages.

TXT did not debut in that building. BigHit moved from Nonhyeon-ro 145 to Dosandae-ro 16 building back in 2017, where TXT became a lineup and debuted 2 years later

And even if they debuted there, nothing justifies ruining hundreds of other fans messages like this pic.twitter.com/rI0H8n3sY7
