BTS has big plans for next year!

On July 1, all seven members of BTS held a Weverse live broadcast together in which they made some exciting announcements about their upcoming plans following the recent completion of all the members’ mandatory military service.

During the broadcast, the BTS members personally confirmed that they would be releasing their next album as a full group in spring 2026—marking their first new group album in four years—and that they were also gearing up for a new world tour.

Additionally, RM revealed that BTS would be working on their new album in the United States starting this month.

“Starting from July, we will gather and stick together in earnest to focus on working on music,” shared RM. “Our full-group album will really be released next spring, and you won’t have to wait until July or August.”

“Of course, we will also be going on a tour, a world tour, starting next spring,” RM continued. “We’ll be going to see you here and there all over the world, so please look forward to it.”

“We’ll communicate [with you] as much as possible through [Weverse] live broadcasts or social media, so if you give us just a little bit of time, we’ll properly show you everything all at once,” he added. “We’ll be working on our album in the United States.”

Jungkook commented, “This time, we’re really going to go all the way back to our original mindset and gather together.” Jimin chimed in, “We’ll work really hard and [prepare the album] quickly so that you won’t have to wait too long,” before adding, “I’m just happy that we’re all together.”

Last month, the Korea Herald reported that BTS was preparing to make a full-group comeback in March 2026, to which BIGHIT MUSIC responded simply, “Nothing has yet been decided about [BTS’s] comeback schedule.”
