The outlet, known for covering major awards like the Oscars and Grammys, listed Olivia Rodrigo’s yet-to-be-released album as a leading contender for Album of the Year at the 2027 ceremony. That alone was enough to frustrate many fans, who see it as another example of how the industry operates.
