BTS Fans Receive Scathing Ridicule For Their Actions At Concert Venue

While the fan-artist connection is at the core of the popular appeal of K-Pop, sometimes certain fan behaviors raise questions about where the boundaries should be drawn. A recently viral video clip, supposedly featuring some BTS fans, has stirred up a similar discussion.

The clip, supposedly taken at a recent BTS concert, showed some fans who attended the group’s concert drinking from the same bottle used by the members during their performance.

The video, originally shared by a BTS fan account on TikTok, showed the fans staying back at the concert venue after the show’s end. They eventually managed to get their hands on a water bottle marked with the number “7,” supposedly used by one of the BTS members on stage. The fans proceeded to drink the leftover water using the same straw and posing with it afterward.

This clip has sparked blistering ridicule on social media, with many netizens calling the behavior “parasocial” and concerning.
