BTS‘s Jungkook and aespa‘s Winter have been “plagued” by dating rumors since explosive speculation that the two idols had matching couple tattoos first surfaced in December 2025.

Now their alleged relationship is once again in the spotlight, but this time they are surrounded by “break-up” rumors rather than dating ones.

Jungkook already drew attention for seemingly not having his tattoo showcased on a recent BTS video posted by fellow bandmate V.

Jungkook’s tattoo itself is still controversial. Looking at the story he posted a few days ago, his arm looks completely bare. (Apparently the image was sharpened using AI. The original was blurry, so honestly we still don’t know.)

Meanwhile, Winter recently shared photos from her trip in Thailand. In the photos, the tattoo is not visible at all. The viral post on Pann claims it was edited out, but fans who personally saw Winter in Thailand confirmed she still had it.

When Winter went to Thailand, fans said they personally saw the tattoo and confirmed it. But in these new photos it looks like it was edited out. Still, in the Hawaii photos the tattoo was clearly visible.

The post further claimed that after seeing Jungkook’s controversial live broadcast and Winter sharing a “sad breakup song” on social media a few days ago, they began to wonder whether the two idols were “forced” to break up amid BTS’s new comeback approaching.

On top of that, if you consider the mood during [Jungkook’s drunk broadcast], and the sad breakup song Winter posted a few days later, isn’t it possible the company actually forced them to break up before the comeback??

Last year it already became a huge mess and they were publicly dragged over it, but it seems like they’re only now remembering that they’re idols and public figures. Getting such noticeable tattoos in the first place was such a stupid thing to do.
