According to the latest reports, BTS member Jungkook has made a massive contribution toward the relief efforts for the victims of Korea’s devastating wildfires.

On March 28, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association revealed that Jungkook had donated a whopping ₩1.00 billion KRW (about $680,000 USD) to the organization for wildfire recovery. So far, his contribution has been the biggest among all celebrities who have monetarily supported the cause.
Hope Bridge Korea’s statement also shared how Jungkook’s contribution will be used to aid the victims. The organization plans to use ₩500 million KRW (about $340,000 USD) to provide emergency aid and relief supplies to the residents who have lost their homes to the blaze. The other 500 million will be used to improve the working conditions of the firefighters who have been tirelessly working to combat the calamity.
