BTS‘s Jungkook recently returned to Weverse with a letter to greet the new year.
Jungkook addressed how we’ve finally reached the year of his military discharge, which will take place in June 2025.
I’m a bit late with my New Year’s greetings. Hello, this is Jungkook, heh.
This is the year of discharge, and also the year we meet, ARMY.
But it doesn’t feel like there’s a big change in my heart.
As always, I just have a heart full of wanting to see you.
There’s not much to share about my feelings; I’m just continuing to wait.
— Jungkook
He set his intention of wanting to learn and grow in the new year, though time still feels as if its moving slowly.
Still, if there’s something I want to hurry up and do,
It’s spending time learning a variety of things and dedicating myself to growth for ARMY.
Time seems to pass quickly.
I wish it would move even faster.
I miss you so much that it feels a bit overwhelming.
— Jungkook
He also made sure to wish everyone good health for the year.
It’s already January 8th.
Is everyone staying healthy?
I hope you all receive lots of blessings,
And I wish tonight feels like the New Year hasn’t started off too badly for you.
Even though people can’t avoid feeling pain,
I hope you feel just a little less of it, even if only a tiny bit.
And when you lie down to sleep,
I hope it’s a night free of intrusive thoughts.
Let’s wait just a little longer.
I love you.
— Jungkook
Fans were touched by his sincere and loving words.
