BTS’s V has found himself at the center of heated debate and even criticism after photos of him with TWS during Paris Fashion Week went viral.

The images, taken at the Celine show, quickly became a trending topic among Korean netizens after one viral post on Pann shockingly criticized his appearance compared to the younger idols.

The original poster claimed that seeing V next to TWS’s Shinyu and Dohun proved how much proportions can affect someone’s visuals. They noted that while V has long been considered one of the most handsome idols of his generation, he appeared “less good-looking” when standing beside “the taller and smaller-faced” TWS members.
TWS’s Shinyu and Dohun have such small faces and great proportions. Even though V is considered the most handsome among 3rd generation idols, he just can’t compare to the younger and taller Shinyu and Dohun. It’s honestly the first time V has ever looked less handsome.

The post quickly drew hundreds of comments, with many criticizing the comparison and accusing certain fandoms of using the photo to start unnecessary fanwars. Others pointed out that another photo — taken at a party the night before the Celine show — actually showed V appearing taller than the TWS members.

- “If this were a post criticizing an SM idol’s looks, it would be flooded with comments defending them while dragging HYBE idols by the hair. Pann really is dominated by SM stans.”
- “SM stan, stop trying to stir things up between HYBE idols and just keep worshipping your jawline-strong SM idols.”
- “Those DC Gallery users are only taking the last part out of context to start fanwars. Seriously, stop being so annoying.”
- “They spent so much time hyping it up on DC Gallery, thinking Pann would just pick it up and run with it, but it didn’t work. V was insanely popular at Celine this time… they tried to stir up hate with ridiculous posts everywhere, but honestly, it’s not catching on at all.”
