8TURN wrapped up the U.S. leg of their 8TURNRISE World Tour with a powerful performance at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts. Here’s what made their final U.S. stop so special.

The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre pulsed with anticipation on the evening of May 5, as fans filed into the grand venue for the final U.S. stop of 8TURN’s 1st World Tour, 8TURNRISE. A golden San Francisco sunset gave way to stage lights as the eight-member group made a dramatic entrance to the haunting instrumental of “WORLD.” Silhouetted by strobes and smoke, Jaeyun, Myungho, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yunggyu, and Seungheon emerged with unmistakable confidence before bursting into their explosive debut track, “RU-PUM PUM.”

The energy ignited instantly, sharp choreography, commanding vocals, and a unified roar from the crowd set the tone for a night that balanced polished performance with raw emotion.

From there, the group charged into “WALK IT OUT,” blending swagger with sleek footwork, with fans shouting along to every beat. “EXCEL” followed, and the theatre practically shook from the bass drop, as 8TURN leaned into their power with hard-hitting precision.

The night’s momentum shifted gears with two unit stages that showcased the group’s versatility. First came Yunggyu and Seungheon with a fiery cover of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” adding a gritty West Coast flair to the San Francisco stop. Then Myungho, Haemin, and Kyungmin took the stage for an emotionally resonant rendition of BTS’s “Black Swan.” Their interpretation added a fresh vulnerability, underscoring the group’s ability to channel feeling as powerfully as they deliver choreography.

As the full group reunited, they turned up the tempo again with “TIC TAC,” a fan-favorite that had lightsticks waving and voices echoing through the theatre. The synchronized formations and polished stage transitions kept the energy high, especially as they launched into “LEGGO,” which felt like a full-on celebration. With fans on their feet and the members hyping up each corner of the crowd, it became a standout high of the night.

After briefly exiting the stage, chants of “Encore!” filled the venue until the group returned with softer, more heartfelt selections. “Like a Friend” opened the encore set, giving space for the members to interact with fans more intimately, exchanging smiles and waves. “ING” followed, its message of perseverance and growth resonating deeply, especially as the group reflected on their journey so far.

Finally, they closed the night with “You Are My Reason,” a touching track that brought emotions full circle. As confetti fluttered down and fans sang along, it became clear how meaningful this final U.S. stop was for 8TURN and their supporters.

With Europe next on the itinerary, 8TURN’s global rise is just beginning. But if San Francisco was any indication, this group isn’t just turning heads—they’re setting the stage for the next era of K-pop.
