Daesung Sets Music Comeback with New Album

Daesung is returning to the music scene after nearly a year.

His agency, R&D Company (D Label), announced that he will release his first mini-album, D’s WAVE, on April 8 through various online music platforms.

To heighten anticipation, Daesung unveiled a teaser image on his official social media channels on the 17th. The striking photo features him surrounded by multiple stand microphones, exuding a sleek and charismatic aura in an all-black ensemble.

Fans are buzzing with excitement over Daesung’s return, eager to hear what musical direction he will take in this new release. Following the emotional depth of his 2023 single Falling Slowly, expectations are high for the tracks included in D’s WAVE.

Beyond music, Daesung has been making waves in various fields. His YouTube channel Jipdaesung has cemented his status as an all-around entertainer, amassing over 1.13 million subscribers in under a year. His influence was further recognized when he was named the top male celebrity YouTuber at the 2025 Korea First Brand Awards.

Additionally, Daesung continues to showcase his close bond with his fellow BIGBANG members.
