Disney+ has released first-look images from the upcoming second season of Made in Korea, reuniting lead stars Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, and Woo Do Hwan ahead of its 2026 return.
Recently named by TIME as one of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2026, the new season picks up nine years after Season 1, with Baek Ki-tae rising to the height of power while imprisoned prosecutor Jang Geon-young prepares another calculated move against him. The series teases an intense confrontation between two opposing forces as political tensions escalate.
Hyun Bin reprises his role as Baek Ki-tae, while Jung Woo-sung returns as Jang Geon-young and Woo Do-hwan as Baek Ki-hyun. The series reunites its original creative team, including writer Park Eun-kyo, director Woo Min-ho, and production company Hive Media Corp.
Season 1 of Made in Korea previously became the top-viewed Korean Original premiere of 2025 on Disney+ in the Asia-Pacific region, following a narrative centered on Ki-tae’s double life as a KCIA agent navigating corruption, power struggles, and a relentless prosecutor determined to bring him down.
Season 2 is expected to continue that conflict on a larger scale, escalating the battle between ambition and justice within Korea’s corridors of power.
More details are expected in the coming months, with Season 1 currently available for streaming on Disney+.
