EPEX is back with their infectious pre-release single “My Girl,” a delightful ode to the clumsy yet exhilarating journey of falling in love!

EPEX has unveiled their pre-release single, “My Girl,” in anticipation of their second full-length album. This release comes six months after their first full length album, Youth Chapter 1: YOUTH DAYS, and showcases the group’s vibrant and cheerful sound.

“My Girl” is an upbeat love anthem that captures the endearing awkwardness often associated with falling in love and mustering the courage to share those feelings. The lyrics are sweet and sincere, enhancing the R&B hip-hop vibe with a groovy bassline, powerful synth pads, and infectious synth melodies. The track features an impressive roster of producers known for their work with prominent groups like EXO, STRAY KIDS, and SHINee.

ABOUT EPEX

EPEX (이펙스) is an eight-member boy group under C9 Entertainment, made up of WISH, KEUM, MU, A-MIN, BAEKSEUNG, AYDEN, YEWANG, and JEFF. Their name symbolizes “the gathering of eight youths reaching eight different apexes,” reflecting the collective strength of the members. They debuted on June 8, 2021, with their first EP, BIPOLAR Pt.1: Prelude of Anxiety.

Just 15 days after their debut, EPEX performed the title track “Lock Down” on SBS MTV’s “THE SHOW” and garnered a nomination for 1st place, quickly establishing themselves as one of 2021’s most anticipated groups.
