Ahead of the song’s release, Tablo shared the honesty behind the song, and it felt like a way to prepare fans, along with an interview.

Soon!

It's an honest song, and because it's honest, there is pain there. But that's also what makes it an empowering song.

What we want is for you to nod your head to it, blast it at the gym or in your car on the way to work, dance & sing along to it, make memes, make it… pic.twitter.com/9GtpCx76if

When the song was released on May 2 (KST), it instantly sparked emotions from fans.

The initial illustrations for the start of the video showcased the tone of the song. It deals with tough and dark topics, and the lyrics hit a chord with the raw emotion and honesty of both stars.

It unsurprisingly made fans extremely emotional, and while hearing the lyrics, they appreciated how they intertwined without seeming like a battle of hardships but acknowledging the mutual hurt they have felt. Netizens shared the lyrics they related to but also how it hurt hearing what both Tablo and RM had been through, wishing them  future of happiness like they had given to so many.

That was so…. raw. It's the way Tablo and Namjoon's despair didn't overshadow nor outweigh one another, but it exists in it's own way, trying to make sense of something they didn't deserve to go through. Just two some of the most brightest and brilliant people.

I like how the song isn’t just one person struggling with their pain but two people who weave in and out – you don’t have a clear Tablo section and Namjoon section but they’re in a dialogue with each other. “I know what it feel like.” Getting things off their chest.

Honestly I don't really know what to say except that both joon and tablo are so strong and that I'm wishing them a future full of happiness

tablo and namjoon are the definition of vulnerability as strength
