TXT is back for their “ACT : PROMISE” Encore in Seoul!
After holding 28 concerts across 17 cities worldwide, TXT returned to Seoul for their encore concerts for “ACT : PROMISE” from November 1 to 3 at the KSPO Dome.
Ahead of the third and final day of their Seoul encore concerts, TXT held a press conference regarding their upcoming comeback with their seventh mini album “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” and their world tour.
Talking about the most touching moments of the tour, Soobin picked the dome tour, explaining how fascinating it felt to become an artist that perform at concert domes. Through “ACT : PROMISE,” TXT became the fastest Korean artist to hold a dome tour across Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, Vantelin Dome, and PayPay Dome in Japan. Soobin also elaborated on how the members matured even more following the tour, explaining how they have come to give off an air of professionalism and how their stage manners have improved.
Beomgyu, who took a temporary break due to injury earlier this year, shared, “I felt sorry and grateful to the members as they performed without me. Due to the incident, the members were able to grow closer. MOA (TXT’s official fan club) also sent a lot of support, so I think I was able to speedily recover.”
With regards to their upcoming comeback, Yeonjun described their title track “Over The Moon” to be a love song akin to TXT’s trademark love songs such as “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” and “LO$ER=LO♡ER.” Yeonjun further described, “Although we’ve confessed a lot to MOA already, this is the most romantic album.”
Huening Kai further teased, “In the music video, there is a scene in which Soobin is holding an umbrella, and I’m looking forward to that scene.” Beomgyu added, “I thought it came out really well, but Soobin wasn’t satisfied.”
When asked about the recent HYBE controversies, Soobin responded, “Starting in May, we were on tour, and we were preparing for our album, so we were very busy. Regardless of the surrounding situation, we focused on the new album and worked hard to prepare. As always, we will promote without regrets, showcasing what we are good at.”
Earlier on November 1, Huening Kai left the concert mid-performance due to his health. Huening Kai remarked, “I was honestly not feeling well from the previous day, and trying to endure that made it worse, so unfortunately, I wasn’t able to perform. However, today, I really wanted to see the fans, so I came running.”
Huening Kai also talked about making a comeback alongside his younger sister Huening Bahiyyih, who is promoting as a member of Kep1er. He revealed, “Before the comeback, I talked with my younger sister, and we learned that our comeback dates are overlapping, so we sent messages of support to each other,” also praising her performing.
As TXT is making a comeback amidst a strong lineup of artists, Taehyun remarked, “To make a comeback alongside such amazing artists is so great. There is so much to learn from watching them.” Huening Kai further remarked, “Before the comeback, we ate a meal with BTS’s Jin,” revealing that they supported each other’s comeback.
Taehyun reflected upon preparing for the album alongside the concert, sharing, “What was different for me was that when I write lyrics, I’m at the studio with my laptop and phone. I wrote a lot while on the move since I was physically abroad. At first, I couldn’t focus while writing in the car and on the plane, but after writing one to two songs, I got confident that I could write more while I’m on the move.”
Yeonjun touched briefly upon working on his recent solo project alongside the tour and group album preparations, sharing, “I think it’s a lie to say that it wasn’t physically difficult, but it was also fun and enjoyable,” adding that promoting solo was a meaningful experience as it reminded him once more of the members’ importance.
Wrapping up, Taehyun summarized their goals for the upcoming comeback, saying, “We hope that our music can be listened to for a long time and that we become a group that people keep an eye on for a long time.”
Following the press conference, TXT took to the stage for the final encore concert in Seoul, once again heating up KSPO Dome with their energy and eye-catching performances. Amidst deafening screams, the group performed hit after hit, also giving the first-ever look at their new title track “Over The Moon.”
Wrapping up the encore concerts in Seoul, the TXT members expressed their excitement for the new album as well as all the B-side tracks. Taehyun shared, “MOA gave us tremendous energy. It was such a happy three days, and today, Heuning Kai could join us, so I couldn’t be happier.” Yeonjun added, “Such as the case with [the health of] Beomgyu and Huening Kai, unexpected events can occur, but we will overcome it and turn crisis into opportunity.”
Beomgyu expressed his love for MOA, saying, “Even if I have to give up some of my happiness, I wish for MOA to be happy.” Heuning Kai candidly shared, “I felt guilty, but I also felt grateful to MOA,” talking about how he teared up while watching MOA sing his part when he was unable to participate in the concert. He added, I”m grateful.” Finally Soobin shared, “The tour is nearly over, and as the concert reaches the end, each and every concert feels precious, and I feel saddened to see it end.” However, he added that the concert is only the beginning as there is the comeback and year-end events to look forward to.
Following their encore concerts in Seoul, TXT will visit the Kyocera Dome in Osaka for more encore concerts from November 30 to December 1. Furthermore, TXT is gearing up for their comeback on November 4 with their seventh mini album “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY.” Check out teasers for their comeback album here!
