Female K-Pop Idol Regrets Not Dating Enough During Her Heyday

A female K-Pop idol revealed that she regrets not having dated much in her twenties.

On October 19th, a video titled “Wow, that’s really bad..Love Counseling Room: Dating Edition” was posted on YouTube.

In the video, Soyou, originally from the group SISTAR, read a letter from a woman in her twenties. The writer said she had no time to look around her and was living very busily, so she was unsure whether it was the right time to start dating. She added that she worried about hurting the other person if she started a relationship without cause.

Soyou firmly said, “Babies are born even in times of war,” then added, “Do you think I wasn’t busy in my twenties? I was busy too. But there’s always time for dating.”

Soyou empathized with the letter writer’s worries and advised, “Just start first. Things change once you do. I still regret not dating more in my twenties. That’s because it was the freshest kind of love. Even though you’re an adult, it’s still cute. You should date as much as you can while you can.”
