Yumi, now a trot-genre soloist, debuted with VNT in 2010 and then joined Kiss&Cry in 2014—but neither group gained significant attention at the time. Regardless, Yumi has not given up on singing.

In an attempt to become more recognized as a soloist, Yumi planned her first performance in Japan. She was seen walking around the streets and promoting her concert, despite the lack of interest from people.

The trailer showed, however, Yumi confronting a heartbreaking sight: An empty venue. Half an hour before show time, not a single audience member could be found. Adding to her anxiety, a staff member at the venue explained, “There have been times when the audience count was zero. If no one shows up, the performance usually gets canceled.”

Will Yumi be able to take her first steps toward becoming an established name in the trot world? The episode will air on May 20, 2025 (KST).
