Global icon G-Dragon is once again using his influence for meaningful change—this time by donating a staggering 880 million won to support treatment programs for teenage alcoholism.
The generous donation was announced at the Peace Minus One Premium Highball Launching Party – The Signal, held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on June 13. The event celebrated the debut of the third installment in G-Dragon’s signature highball line, which merges his artistic vision with social messaging. Following the earlier releases of the Black Highball in April and the Red Highball in May, the third and final edition—dubbed Art Highball—completes the creative trilogy under the theme of healing Earth’s “three deficiencies”: peace, emotion, and coexistence.
What sets this release apart is the deeply symbolic artwork personally created by G-Dragon. The bottle features an imperfect daisy, drawn in diverse forms, colors, and textures. The message is powerful yet simple: “It’s okay not to be perfect.” Through this visual motif, G-Dragon encourages acceptance of personal flaws and highlights a sense of shared humanity—an idea he describes as a “transcendent solidarity” among people living with their own imperfections.
The number 880 in his donation is not random. The artist, known for weaving symbolism into everything he touches, chose the figure to represent infinity (∞), reflecting his hope for an ongoing movement. As honorary chairman of the Justice Foundation, the organization receiving the funds, G-Dragon expressed his wish for the Peace Minus One project to inspire a lasting culture of joy, healing, and generosity. “Even if the contributions are small,” he shared, “I dream of a world where more people participate and keep this culture alive.”
G-Dragon’s philanthropic vision is further supported by Choi Yong-ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation and chairman of the Just Peace Foundation. He described the donation and cultural movement as just the beginning. “What we’re building with Peace Minus One is more than a product or a campaign,” Choi said. “It’s a long-term commitment to presenting what Earth has been missing—through bold storytelling, artistic imagination, and groundbreaking AI entertainment.”
With this donation and message, G-Dragon is once again proving that cultural influence can be a tool for social good. By turning the spotlight onto teen alcoholism—an often-overlooked issue—he is not just launching a highball, but also a high-impact call to action.
