Known for their iconic blend of “powerful innocence” and “passionate haziness,” the group once again showcased their unique charm during their 10th-anniversary solo concert, GFRIEND 10th Anniversary: Season of Memories, held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul from March 17 to 19.
The concert, which sold out all three performances and even opened additional restricted-view seats due to overwhelming demand, was a special event that commemorated GFRIEND’s remarkable legacy. It also marked their first major performance since their hiatus in 2021, offering fans a long-awaited opportunity to reconnect with the group after four years.
From the very beginning, GFRIEND (Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji) delivered nostalgia and energy with a setlist full of hits. Songs like “Me Gustas Tus”, “Navillera”, and “Love Whisper“ immediately transported fans—known as Buddy—back to the group’s glory days, sparking thunderous cheers. They even treated fans to a unique “Wind” mashup stage featuring, “Windy Windy”, and “Gone with the Wind”, which added a refreshing twist to the show.
As the concert progressed, GFRIEND shifted gears to their “passionate haziness” era, captivating the audience with sultry performances of “MAGO” and “Apple”. Dressed in sleek black outfits, the members radiated confidence and sophistication, showcasing a mature and alluring side that contrasted beautifully with their earlier innocence. Umji, who revealed she stayed up all night writing a letter to fans, read it aloud with raw emotion, while Yuju, unable to speak due to a throat condition, shared her feelings through heartfelt notes written on a sketchbook. These intimate moments further solidified the deep bond between GFRIEND and their fans, making the concert an unforgettable experience.
