The Bias List is a K-pop blog that also covers a fair amount of J-pop. But just like most music fans, I enjoy tracks from all around the world. So, I thought I’d start a monthly round-up of some of the non-K-pop songs that have caught my ear. No ratings — just highlights!

Andreas Lundstedt – F.A.M.E (LeyLey)
His stint on the newest season of Så Mycket Bättre is the gift that keeps on giving. This is an excellent cover, building toward a huge finale.
ÁSDÍS – Touch Me
This is a pretty standard pop track but her powerful vocals take it to another level.
Benjamin Ingrosso – Back To You
I actually featured this song last month, but now it has a music video. It’s one of the best tracks from his absolutely incredible album, so I’m happy to feature it again!
Blusher – Somebody New
I really like how propulsive this chorus is.
Bruno Martini – You Will Find Me
This has a great early-2000’s funk/soul/disco sound.
Florrie – If It’s Been A Hard Night
Florrie’s spring album is well worth seeking out and this new music video for previously released track If It’s Been A Hard Night is yet another reminder to do so.
Ira – Auf Wiedersehen
More pulsing Finnish dance pop for your playlist.
Madison Rose – Panavision
She’s really delivering everything I wish Lady Gaga was doing at the moment. I firmly believe she is the most underrated artist working at the moment and this is another smash.
Max Barskih — Я вже не ти (I’m Not You Anymore)
I think this is the first time I’ve featured a Ukrainian artist on the global round-up, but this is a great place to start because it hits all the chugging Euro synthpop notes I’m craving. I’ve just starting to dive into this guy’s sprawling discography and I’m loving everything I’m hearing so far.
moistbreezy – 3AM
This particular song came out before this month but the album has just been released and anyone who loves high-energy trance music should really give it a chance because it’s banger after banger.
Neea River – Crocodile Tears
She just keeps releasing bops. At this point, we’ve got a nice album’s worth of material.
Olly Alexander – Archangel
I’m still pissed off about his 90-second “song” released a few weeks ago (mostly because it sounds like a full version would be incredible), but this is a nice slice of classic pop music.
Robin Packalen – Amen
Robin Packalen released a fantastic synth-pop album last month and this closing track is a major highlight. That chorus goes off!
Sadye – Transcendent
This one’s quite sprightly!
Sigala x Ely Oakes – With You
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Sigala and I’m so happy to have his music back. This is a bit short but so addictive.
Silence Wang – Take Off
This song has been out for a few months but it now has a very trippy music video. I really love his work in the electronic genre and this has a very nice anthemic heft.
Zivert – Эгоистка (Selfish)
Yep, Ukrainian pop is next on my deep dive list. This is so groovy.
