As many wait for the debut of SM Entertainment‘s new girl group, Hearts2Hearts, more details about the group, including members’ backgrounds, have emerged.
Member Carmen is the only non-Korean, hailing from Indonesia, a country that has debuted only a handful of K-Pop idols.

Here is a list of the Indonesian idols who debuted before!
1. Z-GIRLS’ Vanya
Z-GIRLS‘ Vanya debuted as a group member in 2019 under Zenith Media Contents. The global group is inactive, but Vanya had a YouTube channel with her boyfriend, Z-BOYS‘ Mavin.

2. Z-BOYS’ Mavin
Z-BOYS’ Mavin debuted in the brother group of Z-Girls in 2019. He is also a member of the Indonesian boy group B FORCE.

3. ASC2NT’s Kyle
ASC2NT, originally known as THE BOSS, re-debuted in 2024 with a new line-up featuring member Kyle. He is from Jakarta, Indonesia, and is the youngest member of the group.

4. 14U’s Loudi
14U debuted in 2017 and included member Loudi as the first Indonesia to ever debut in a K-Pop group from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The group disbanded in 2019, and he is now active as a solo artist, having released “Obsession” in 2024.

5. MAVE:’s Marty:
Marty: debuted as a member of virtual girl group MAVE: in 2023.

6. VVUP’s Kim
VVUP‘s Kim debuted as a member of the group in April 2024, hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia. She was previously active as a soloist following her appearance on The Voice Kids Indonesia.

7. SECRET NUMBER’s Dita
Dita made her debut as a member of SECRET NUMBER in 2020 and was the first female Indonesian idol to debut. She also debuted a member of the project group triple iz in 2024.

8. Beauty Box’s Via
Via was initially introduced as a member of MEP-C, but left the project before officially debut. She later was added to Beauty Box as a new member in 2023.

9. ZODIAC’s Zayyan
XODIAC‘s Zayyan debuted as a member of the group in 2023. The group is still active and set to release a new album on February 18, 2025.

I.MET.U’s Cleo is from Bali, but the group has not yet debuted, which is why she was not included in this list. The same goes for NWH:I‘s Vanesya, whose debut is scheduled for November 2025.
