A disturbing video allegedly showing popular ZEROBASEONE member Zhang Hao being chased by a crowd of so-called “sasaeng” fans in China is going viral online, drawing concern and heated reactions.
The now widely circulated clip appears to be surveillance footage taken from a restaurant. In it, a man — believed to be Zhang Hao — can be seen abruptly running through a crowded food court area while a swarm of people sprints after him, weaving through tables and diners.
A viral Instiz post claims that the incident took place while he was having a meal, only for the outing to be cut short by the sudden appearance of obsessive fans.
Wow, Zhang Hao being chased by sasaeng fans in China is just insane.
He was eating when sasaengs started gathering around, so he had to stop mid-meal and run away. (The guy running at the front is him.)
Even popularity can be a double-edged sword.

What makes the situation even more troubling is the sheer number of people involved. Rather than backing off, the crowd appears to grow as more people join in the chase. The horrifying video shows just how truly chaotic such moments can turn when such a large number of fans get involved.

Many are calling it a clear example of sasaeng behavior, referring to obsessive fans who invade celebrities’ personal lives to an extreme degree.
- “Huh? What is this even…”
- “They look like zombies, seriously.”
- “If you’re a fan, at least pretend not to notice when he’s trying to eat at a restaurant. Chinese fans really go too far.”
- “Why live like that…”
- “Is the first person running Zhang Hao?”
The video continues to trend, and many are urging agencies to take stronger steps in protecting idols from such harassment, especially during personal time.
