Prosecutors have asked a South Korean court to fine a 41-year-old woman 10 million won (about $7,100) over allegations that she stalked actor Hwang Jung Min. The request was made on August 11 during the final hearing at the Goyang Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court.The woman, identified only as A, is accused of violating the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes.Prosecutors said they sought the higher fine because the alleged behavior continued for a long time and involved a large number of attempts to contact Hwang. They also pointed to threatening messages that A allegedly posted on social media during the legal proceedings.
